Miguel Azguime's work at the opening of "Le 104" in Paris
Miguel Azguime is the portuguese composer invited for the opening of the newest artistic creation centre in Paris "Le 104" next October 11th. "Le 104" commissioned the composer one electroacoustic piece of 104 seconds for the opening of this new cultural venue of the French capital.
Miguel Azguime will be composer in residency at the "Le 104" in 2009/2010, together with Paula Azguime. |

Portuguese composer Miguel Azguime awarded by the Music Theatre NOW Berlin
Miguel Azguime's multimedia opera "Salt Itinerary" was recently awarded by the Music Theatre NOW Berlin in the categorie "Other Forms beyond Opera". This work reflects Azguime's concept of new opera. Together with Paula Azguime - the co-author of Salt Itinerary - they call it "New Op-Era".
Salt Itinerary will be presented in Berlin during the International meeting Music Theatre Now at the Radialsystem V - New Space for the Arts starting the 20th of November 2008. |
